DESERTS AND TOXIC FISH - As land for cultivation of crops turns to dust from global warming, we'll have to turn to the sea, but fish are poisoned with carcinogenic laden plastics.

The world is getting hotter. This is caused by human (anthropogenic) activity and population expansion. Where humans demand more than just the bare necessities. Humans demand houses, cars, heating, eating at restaurants, constant entertainment and holidays.

Climate change means warming the planet, hence global warming.

Not only that, some rich bastards demand two or more houses and collections of cars. The really wealthy shit-heads also have private planes and luxury yachts.

Then there is the mega-rich fuckers, who have space rockets. Can you imagine the carbon footprints of those assholes. And guess what, they give very little back to society, having rogered the system senseless, cheated the taxman and squirreled as much laundered money away as they can for a rainy day and playtime.

Others have multiples of children, not limited to the rich, the poor also produce like rabbits.

As the wealth divide lessens, with standards of living rising from when we swung around in trees eating bananas, to having flushing toilets and hot and cold running water, with central heating, the average carbon footprint gets bigger. Multiply that by population growth - and of course with the rise in living standards, and we are all living longer. Shit!

We are consuming the world's resources at the rate of 2 planets. As our population rises to 8 billion and living standards improve, that could rise to 3 planets.

The more trees we cut down, the more the planet heats up, and the bigger the deserts get. But they keep on logging with not much replanting. As a result the oceans are rising and islanders are being flooded. Hence, we have created a migrant problem.

The common denominator is food and water. The planet can only grow so much and supply so much water. After that, we can start eating each other and drinking urine. I'm told we taste just like pork. I doubt that urine tastes like anything we'd like to quench parched throats.

“Water, water everywhere, nor any drop to drink.” In Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s famous poem The Rime of the Ancient Mariner, a sailor finds himself trapped in the middle of the ocean, dehydrated and surrounded by useless salt water. Today, we are faced with a similar problem globally: while about 71 percent of the Earth is covered by water, you cannot drink salt water, you need fresh water, and it has to be where it’s needed.

The effects of water scarcity can be catastrophic – so much so that, since 2012, the World Economic Forum has rated water crises among its top three global risks in terms of impact, ranking them alongside weapons of mass destruction, climate change and the outbreak of infectious disease.

The threat of scarcity is a growing one, exacerbated by an expanding population and developing countries forming consumption habits in line with those the western world has set.

We are in for a rough ride going from a bad deal at COP26 in 2021, through to 2022 and onwards to 2030.

We are very concerned that governments as inept as the G20, will be unable to provide us with food and water security.

Famine and dehydration caused by desertification will eventually kill off enough humans, such that as numbers fall, the planet might begin to recover. The pressures of survival may lead to civil unrest, food riots, cannibalism and world war three. Love thy neighbour takes on a whole new meaning. As Hannibal Lecter would say: "I'm having an old friend for dinner." Politicians first, because they caused the crisis, and must give something back to society. It's the least they can do. We think you may like Boris and his Cabinet after all. In China they'll make a meal of Xi Jinping, in Russia Vladimir Putin will go down nicely with some Vodka, and in America, they'll have Joe Biden round for a Kentucky spit roast. In Oz, Scott Morrison will be the roast of the town at the barbie.

WE ALL NEED TO DRINK - In some countries there are no groundwater pipes. Water is too valuable. Sometimes more expensive than petroleum. Water tankers keep the human population hydrated. But it is demanding and increases carbon footprints, where diesel is used for transport.

THE CURE

Let's face it, with the G20 heads of state at present, we are up shit creek without a paddle. The only answer is to stop having children - don't eat, don't drink, don't drive, and stop working - cos you won't have the strength for that.
