POTHOLE POLITICS

TAXING THE POOR TO BUILD ROADS, THEN NOT BUILDING THE ROADS WITH THE MONEY YOU HAVE PAID

DOWNRIGHT DANGEROUS - We pay our taxes but get no value for all our hard earned pounds. Don't forget that our income is taxed along with just about everything we buy. Even buying a house is subject to stamp duty and dying also costs money with death duties. Shit! How are they getting away with bleeding the electorate dry like this?

WHAT IS POTHOLE POLITICS?

'Pothole Politics' is where the electorate are taxed for a service, but then that service is not provided, because the chancellor of the exchequer is fiddling the books, robbing Peter to pay Paul. The question being, who is Paul?

In our books that is fraud. The reason they have been getting away with it for so long is that the electorate are treated like mushrooms: 'kept in the dark and fed on bullshit.'

The number of Potholes and general state of your roads tell you about the state of your infrastructure, and the quality of the administration you elected.

It's a pretty poor show. The council - that’s what you call local government in England, has been ducking the pothole issue for years. But it's hard to deny what you can see and feel every day you trundle off to work or the shops - taking your life in your hands.

All the Government have to do is dream up a new tax, knowing that the electorate are too stupid to understand the con. This is the Con in Con-servative. Con artists from Eton for the most part.

Transparency in local and national government is one possible answer, with full accountability. Otherwise our roads will get worse - but maybe corporate manslaughter charges is another way of punishing the culprits.

ROAD TAX - Examples of a raw deal is paying for roads and only 5% of your hard earned taxes going to road building and repairs. That is why we have so many potholes. Hence, pothole politics is robbing Peter to Pay Paul, apart from the actual pot holes along the busy A271, that make commuting to Hastings or Hailsham dangerous, where the tarmac is narrow and flooding is likely to increase.

THE NHS - Another example of a bum deal is the NHS, having drained us for all our working lives, Governments have spent the money on Trident missiles, nuclear submarines and nuclear powered aircraft carriers such as the Queen Elizabeth class, all the while not providing homes for people living on the streets. Having done so the NHS is virtually a work to rule organisation stripped to the bone of facilities that has led to Britain topping 100,000 Covid-19 deaths in January of 2021, making the UK the highest casualty area in all Europe. Boris and his flunkies have got a lot to answer for. No wonder in some European states, they call him BoJo the Clown.

BUM DEALS - You could be forgiven for thinking this was symbolic of the UK parliament, judging by the quality of the decisions and the squandering of public money.

COUNCIL HOUSING SELL OFF - Then there is the lack of affordable housing in the UK, with Conservative policies favouring wealthy landlords and financial slavery for the masses. The way the Conservatives see it is that sustainability is keeping themselves and their chums in luxury, and keeping the workers paying through their noses to keep fat bankers fatter, driving Rolls Royce's, Bentley's and Aston Martin's.

Thomas Crapper founded his sanitary equipment company to make taking a dump less of a bum deal. If only Mr Crapper was alive today to deal with our dangerous tarmac situation.
